The Sanctuary Display Village is now open!

On 29 March 2008, project partners Urban Pacific and Landcom officially opened the Sanctuary Display Village and celebrated the occasion with a Family Fun Day.

The event was a huge success, with more than 1000 people converging on the site to enjoy the festivities and experience all that Sanctuary has to offer.

State Member for Wallsend, Sonya Hornery, officially opened the Display Village, while Mr Greg Combet MP and Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Councillor John Tate, planted a tree as a symbol of growth and prosperity for the Sanctuary community.

The Display Village currently showcases two designs each from leading builders Eden Brae, Kingstone, Rawson and Huxley Homes. Each of the builders was hand selected for inclusion in the building panel which will deliver quality, architecturally designed homes under the Sanctuary Design Guidelines. At the opening ceremony, it was announced Captial Homes has now been added to the roster of builders and will soon commence work on their contributions to the display village.
